No Troops From US into Nigeria as widely Reported by the Media
Culled from LIB
Some of you may have seen this photo and similar ones on several online platforms, claiming its US troops capturing a Boko Haram member. it's false. U.S Pentagon has stated there will be no American troops in Nigeria...at least for now. The team sent are experts to help with communications, logistics, and intelligence. The pic above going viral is French troops in Central African Republic in 2013. (See here).
Secondly, you can see in all the pics floating online, from the uniforms, the African soldiers taking notes from American forces are from Uganda and Somalia. Military aid has been in Africa for sometime under AFRICOM to help train our military.
Now to the second issue; are there foreign troops in Nigeria? There are reports this morning that the Special Forces of the US Marines have sited the abducted Chibok Girls in Sambisa Forest...this report is hard to believe because the Pentagon, the UK and France made it clear that they only providing intelligence service (intel & surveillance technology) to work with the Nigerian military..for now! So officially there are no foreign troops in Nigeria, except the foreign government is lying to the media about the kind of help they are providing and really sending troops.

Chris Brown Gets 131 days in Jail for Probation Violation (see full details)
singer Chris Brown has been sentenced to a year in L.A. County Jail for violating his probation stemming from his 2009 assault on Rihanna. Chris had admitted today in court that he violated his probation in the DC fight with one of the Paparazzi. That's all the judge needed to hear. He sentenced Chris to 1 year in jail.
However, good news now is that Chris could be released by this week's end because he was given credit for the 234 days time he has served - 116 days he spent in rehab, and another 59 days behind bars. Meaning he only has 131 more days to go.
BUT, TMZ reports that the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept has been releasing inmates sentenced to 1year after 240 days, which is just 6 days shy for Chris Brown. So he could be released in days.
The judge could have gone a lot harder — 4 years in prison. But Chris got a break because the judge took into account he was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which could account for some of the violence. The judge also ordered Chris to attend therapy sessions with a shrink 2 times a week. And he must submit to random drug testing 3 times a week. Judge James R. Brandlin also reinstated and extended Brown's probation, which is now due to be up next January.
Chris is not out of the legal woods … his D.C. assault trial is set to start in the following months.

How To End Boko Haram In Nigeria –by Aliko Dangote (A must Read)
Africa's richest man and President of Dangote Group of Companies, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has said that the only way to solve the Boko Haram menace is to create jobs.
Speaking in Abuja at the opening plenary session of the ongoing World Economic Forum on Africa, Dangote said if jobs are created for the youths the Boko Haram insurgency that is threatening the unity of Nigeria as a nation will reduce.
The business magnate while talking about his
company's investment in sugar production in the North-eastern part of Nigeria said that his company was investing in Adamawa State which was inflicted by the Boko Haram insurgency.
"We are investing in sugar production in the
North-East, Adamawa in particularly where
there is Boko Haram. The only way to solve Boko Haram is to create jobs", Dangote said.
He added that Africans must learn to trade
within, while governments must create enabling environment for businesses.
Since the Boko Haram sect started causing
unrest in the country, the government has been looking for a solution to curb their activities and their effort is yet to yield positive results.
Countless innocent citizens have lost their lives to the incessant Boko Haram attacks. In the Month of May alone, the dreaded sect has launched no fewer than 5 attacks both in Nigeria and in neighbouring countries like Cameroon.
The group's abduction of more than 200 school girls in Borno is one that is still raising worldwide protests. Many countries like the US,
China France and others have offered their
support to Nigeria in the rescue of the girls who are still missing with no one knowing their whereabout.
President Jonathan has however said that the
abduction of the girls will bring an end to
insurgency in the country.
