Funke Akindele has asked Linda Ikeji to retract and apologise within 24 hours for a post on linda Ikeji's blog published
on January 25, titled, Did Funke Akindele shade Toyin Aimakhu last night?

In the post, Linda Ikeji suggested that an Instagram picture on Funke Akindele's page was intended as a slight on fellow actress, Toyin Aimakhu, who was recently rumoured to have separated from her husband, Adeniyi Johnson.

According to Linda Ikeji, the two actresses had previously fallen out and Toyin Aimakhu had "shaded" Funke Akindele over the latter's 2014 divorce.


Funke Akindele, through her management, said thanks to Linda Ikeji's blog post, she was exposed to "cynical comments and hasty judgements".
"(The post has portrayed) Funke Akindele's brand in bad light," her management said. "It has promoted unhealthy rivalry where there is none."

Ms. Akindele's lawyer, in a seven paragraph letter made available to PREMIUM TIMES said the post was "borne out of pure malice for our client who has carved an inch (sic) for herself in the entertainment industry whilst also inciting hatred between our client and Toyin Aimakhu on one hand and our client and her fans on the other hand."
Linda Ikeji was subsequently advised to remove the post, offer a retraction and make available a link to Ms. Akindeke's team.
Linda Ikeji could not be reached to comment for this story. Calls to the number listed on her website were unanswered.

Scores Wounded By Security Men During a Protest in EKSU today (photos)

There was rioting between students of Ekiti State State University (EKSU) and the management of one of its affiliate colleges, Michael Otedola College of Primary Education in Noforija, Epe Lagos State where some students were allegedly brutalized by security men drafted by the school to disperse them.
Heard the riot was over the failure of MOCPED to present the results of students of the College to the Senate of EKSU for approval which would enabled the affected students obtain certificates.

I am sorry to break this news to you this beautiful Saturday
Morning but it is what it is and I exclusively deliver the sad
news that actress Toyin Aimahku and her actor hubby Adeniyi
Johnson have parted ways!
Insiders allege that the couple have been living apart for over
three months but have been trying to hide it from the
press..Inside sources say that that Toyin and Adeniyi broke up
due to infidelity,which had eaten deep into their marriage.
My source alleges that Toyin used evidence from snooping on
her hubby's phone and caught darling husband red handed in
hotel rooms several times with different girls...Infact my source
quotes the number of times as almost ''300 times red
handed''.
The couple have both moved out of their apartment in Lekki
and have both moved on but pretending to be still together.....
Only their close friends are aware of their split and the insiders
allege that a
reconciliation might not be possible because of the ease with
which both walked out and have indicated that that they do not
wish to be together.
Adeniyi currently has his facebook status as seperated....that is
if he hasnt changed it.
Another source whispers that concerning both ''when there is
no respect in a marriage,when couples talk to each other
without respect and words are no longer relied upon and love
has left behind a sour taste,then its time to check why you
married in the first place''.
Toyin and Adeniyi had a low key traditional wedding in Ibadan
in February 2013 and on July 8 2013 they signed the dotted
lines at the Ikoyi registry.
Their wedding was a celebrated affair on the internet and in
the print media.
Toyin and Niyi had no child together before they parted ways.
There is no wound that baba God cannot heal,no crack that he
cannot seal.

has stolen from them and bring them back together,my

Scores Injured, Vehicles Vandalized As PDP Thugs Attacks Ambode’s Campaign

Pandemonium broke out yesterday in Mosan Okunola Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, when supporters of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Lagos West, Mr Segun Adewale allegedly attacked members of an independent campaign team of All Progressives' Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode.
No fewer than ten vehicles were said to have been vandalised during the attack while one person was allegedly killed and five others wounded.
Two of the victims are said to be lying critically ill in a private hospital as a result of the injuries sustained during the attack.
It was gathered that supporters of the APC governorship candidate were distributing sourvenirs to residents during a neighbourhood to neighbourhood campaign rally when the PDP members who were passing by in their vehicles suddenly confronted them and started shooting sporadically.
A resident who was holding one of the APC sourvenirs was said to have been shot dead while panicky residents run for their dear life.
An impeccable source who spoke in confidence said: "The APC members had embarked on a peaceful rally to solicit support for their candidates in the coming election when they were attacked by PDP supporters who were also passing by.As a matter of fact, the PDP supporters who were heading towards Iyana Ipaja in their vehicles suddenly turned back and ran after the APC supporters.
"Before we knew what was happening, the PDP thugs opened fire on the APC campaigners leading to the death of an innocent resident while about five persons were injured; two of the victims are now in critical condition. Ten vehicles were vandalized while those injured have been taken to a hospital."
One of Adewale's aides, Mr Tosin Odunsi, in a telephone conversation with our correspondent, said the APC supporters actually ignited the confrontation before Adewale's supporters retaliated.
"I was at the scene of the incident and no life was lost. We were actually returning from a campaign rally organized for our governorship candidate, Mr Jimi Agbaje, when we ran into some APC supporters at Boys Town area of Mosan Okunola and they were making a mockery of our party. My boss (Adewale) who was riding in one of the vehicles in our convoy asked us not to confront the APC supporters. However, our supporters retaliated when the APC supporters started shooting sporadically. So, our people did not attack APC members but we retaliated in self-defence. If you must know, our campaign office in Iyana Ipaja was destroyed by APC supporters about two days ago.
