An Irony: The employees;using Nigeria as a spotlight. (A Must Read)

I pledge to Nigeria my country,to be faithful, loyal, and honest. The question is,are we truly faithful, loyal ,and honest to our country? We are a nation United but not intimately,we tend to appear responsible but the moment power gets into our hands we know nobody thus, the fidelity and loyalty disappears in a twinkle of an eye. Where is our love?Where is our pride as a nation?Do we love each wholeheartedly? These are the questions we must answer.
The employees are very fervent and ambitious filled with sagacity but the question is who are they? They are graduates who are expected to be employed after their degrees but fortunately and unfortunately, some we strive and some with connections will be quickly employed. Favourism has now a culture and a common thing in Nigeria, the room for meritocracy is little. The maxim is,"if you know them, then you will be employed".
A graduate who always sees himself as an employee will be dejected if he does not get a lucrative job. These graduates are expected to be employees who will give the societies what they have acquired during their tenure as undergraduates. Many have been sad and moody because there are no jobs available even if there are,how about the connections?. Nigeria has become a be born yesterday whose visions are encrypted waiting for a messiah who will actualize what they dreamt about. Should we call this laziness?Or an act of humility? Nigeria is the giant of Africa yet she has been ridiculed because she could not handle common issues like, security, health, and most Importantly, unemployment etc
Finally,at this juncture I will repose but let there be job opportunities for these graduates who seriously In need of lucrative jobs . The government should tackle this issue.
