Police Dismiss Corporal For Raping 4 Years Old Girl

The Plateau State Police Command has dismissed a police corporal, Damudu Bzibu, who allegedly raped a four-year-old girl, Helen.
Bzibu, with force number, 378612, was attached to the Special Task Force on security in Jos, when he, on March 26, 2014, around 9am at Kassa, Barakin Ladi Local Government Area, lured Helen and raped her.
Plateau State Police Commissioner, Mr. Chris Olakpe, who paraded the suspect along with other criminals at the state police headquarters in Jos on Tuesday, said Helen's father discovered that blood was gushing from the private part of his daughter and after inquiry, the girl told him that she was raped by Bzibu.
Olakpe said the suspect was later identified as Bzibu of 14 PMF, Markudi, attached to Sector 7 of STF. He said the Inspector General of Police had shown special interest in the case, adding that the suspect was given an orderly room trial, found guilty and had been dismissed.
The commissioner also paraded a 12-year- old boy, who was said to have stabbed his elder brother to death.
Also arrested and paraded were four armed robbers, who invaded the home of a Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Julie Anpe. The robbers were said to have been arrested by men of 'A' Division, led by CSP Victor Dimkpa.
Other suspects paraded included a man, Benjamin Toma, who beat his wife to death because she did not yield to his sexual advances; a suspect, who along with four others now at large, conspired to kill a 20-year old boy; and a man who sold his son for N350,000.
Olakpe said the suspects would soon be charged to court, adding that the case against the rapist cop would not be swept under the carpet.
The commissioner displayed some recovered vehicles and enjoined members of the public, whose vehicles were recently snatched, to report to the police with proper identification for collection.

Police confirm Ibadan ‘Lunatics’ As Human Parts Dealers

Two of the arrested suspects, who disguised as lunatics, have confessed to be human body parts dealers, the Oyo State Police Command, yesterday disclosed.
The disclosure was made at the end of a security meeting with the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohammed Indabawa.
About three "lunatics" on whom human parts were found were killed by angry youths.
A woman who reportedly had 42 SIM cards on her and another man with a price list of human parts died in the hospital, Vanguard reports.
After the meeting, the CP also said that 42 lunatics had been withdrawn from major streets by the government. He said the move was to prevent them from further attacks as people now see every lunatic as a potential human parts dealer.
The police hinted that the forensic pathologists had started work on the den.
Ndabawa confirmed that the den had been in existence for the past 10 years, adding that the forensic experts were sent from Force Criminal Investigation Department, Abuja.
"Police have rescued 42 lunatics or presumed lunatics from the streets so far. Two people have been killed. Investigation, like I said, is ongoing and out of the so called lunatics, two of them have confessed to be looking for human body parts, but they are not yet related to the Soka incident.
"That place has been there for a very long time, perhaps about 10 years. It was initially used by a construction company during the channelisation of Ogunpa River and after then the site was abandoned."
"The demolition of that place will continue and be completed so that other miscreants will not use that place for another purpose," he said, referring to the clearing of Soka where the suspected human parts dealers were nabbed.
The Special Adviser on Public Affairs, Mr. Toye Arulogun, said that the state government had also decided to create a temporary shelter with medical personnel and other facilities to take care of the lunatics before they are reunited with their families.

Helicopters drop food items and arms for Boko Haram members - says Yobe elders

Former Minister of Finance, Mallam Adamu Ciroma; former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Ambassador Babagana Kingibe; elder statesman, Shetima Mustapha and other political leaders from Yobe and Borno state yesterday held a press conference in Abuja where they revealed that members of the Islamic sect were being supplied food, medicine and arms with helicopters and wondered why security agents and the state governments have kept mum on this fact.
The elders who met under the umbrella of "Borno Yobe Peoples Forum" wondered why the 20-hilux car convoys of Boko Haram members can move freely and execute their plans without being intercepted by security men who are supposed to monitor movement even with the curfew both states are placed on right now.
They also asked the government to tell Nigerians who directed security officials to leave the Federal Government College, Buni Yadi in Yobe State few hours before the sect members attacked and killed 59 young students last month. Hmmm...continue...
Air Vice Marshal Al-amin Daggash, a former Chief of Air Staff, who spoke on behalf of other elders said
"Are the authorities unaware of helicopters dropping arms and ammunition, food and medical supplies to areas well known to be strong holds of the insurgents? How were the insurgents able to attack the Maiduguri Air-Force Base and demobilise as well as burn planes and other military installations despite existing state of emergency and curfew in the town? How could 20 to 30 Toyota Hilux vehicles move in a convoy freely with subsisting curfew and still go undetected?
"How did a little band of rag-tag misguided youths metamorphose into a well-kitted, well-armed killing machine moving freely in convoy of vehicles and supported by helicopters.
"How did the Shilka Tank, a multipurpose self propelled anti-aircraft artillery weapon, positioned to secure Giwa Barracks, fail to function resulting in heavy loss of lives of both civilian and military as widely reported in the media? Are we dealing with fifth columnists in this crisis?" he said.
The elders asked that the State of Emergency that the three Northeast states, Yobe, Adamawa and Borno, are currently experiencing should not be extended as it has failed to achieve the purpose for which it was first enforced.

A nation is about to fall but they should be aware and cast their obliviousness aside. If they are not careful they might be jeopardized. It's about to happen, very soon we shall witness what disaster really is,they suppose to be in the state of alertness but instead they are  busy gazing at other people's business which does not make any sense.
They think ,they have a proper security which supersedes anyone. All their security men are at rest thinking that, they have arrived ,not knowing that,a calamity is about to befall them. Man must  be watchful every time, this is not the time to sleep nor rest. It is a time to be diligent in all ramifications. Remember that time utility is part of success.
Let that nation be prepared not only for  future things but for those things that will happen spontaneously. Be ready for a great nation is about to fall.
