35yr old Man Arrested For Shaving girlfriend's Pubic Hair (photo)

A 35-year old man, Ibrahim Adamu is
currently in police net in Benin for
allegedly shaving the pubic hair of a 25-
year old woman, Jumai Jasper, while
sleeping in his room.
Edo State Police Commissioner, Samuel
Adegbuyi, who paraded Adamu and 27
others at the state police command
headquarters on Wednesday, said the
suspect lured the victim "into his room,
shave her arm pit hair and her pubic hair
without her consent."
Adamu, a resident of Aduwawa community
in Benin who hails from Funtua local
government area of Katsina state,
confessed to shaving the woman's pubic
hair while sleeping, but said that the
woman was his girlfriend.

"I shaved the pubic hair of the woman
because I wanted to sleep with her, she is
my girlfriend," he said.
He however denied that he did it for ritual
purposes, adding that, he threw away the
hair away afterwards.

woke up and discovered that he had
shaved off her hair, she demanded the
hair but when he could not produce it, she
raised alarm and the people around the
place called the police who arrested him

I Will Crush BOKO HARAM Within Two Months - General Buhari

President –Elect, Muhammadu Buhari has re
assured that his administration will crush the
Boko Haram militants within two months of his
assuming office.
General Buhari spoke yesterday evening during
an interview with Christiane Amanpour on CNN,
monitored in Lagos.
He said there is insecurity in the north-east and
in the Niger Delta regions just as he explains
"we know how they started and where they are
now and we will rapidly give attention to
security in the country. And I believe we will ef
fectively deal with them in two months when we
get into office."
He said the Federal Government made some
mistakes in its fight against Boko Haram and his
administration will addressed the issues. Buhari
however stressed the importance of the support
and assistance of Nigeria's neighbours: Niger,
Cameroon and Chad to help checkmate the mili
tants.
"We will be needing the cooperation of
neighbouring countries such as Cameroon, Chad
and Niger. There were efforts made by the
President Goodluck Jonathan administration, but
it was not good enough and it came rather late,"
he said.
But where did the Jonathan administration go
wrong. Buhari drew attention to the poor
showing of the Nigerian military in the fight
against Boko Haram and explained thus: "We
expected the Federal Government four years ago
to sit down with these countries and make sure
they do not allow the terrorists free movement
across borders, training facilities and movement
of weapons.
"These were only done a few months ago and
we have seen how Cameroon, Chad and Niger
are fighting Boko Haram more than Nigeria is
doing until recently. Really we have seen enough
and we have enough law enforcement to face
Boko Haram squarely."
Buhari is confident that under his government,
the Nigeria Army will perform differently. He
also said the performance of the military was
affected by corruption in the system.
"They will…if you recall, the Nigerian soldiers out
of all ethical expectations were granting inter
views to foreign journalists, saying they were
being sent to fight terrorists without proper
weapons
"And then the National Assembly attempted to
conduct a hearing to find out how much money
was approved for training and weapon in the
last three years but that hearing was scuttled by
the administration."

I hope this regime will take the people to the land of fruition. I hope the poor will be fed judiciously despite the oppressive vicinity . I hope there will be no tribalism and religious rift amidst the people.
The people are waiting and even their eagerness is running out simply because they want a new NATION.

PDP vows to challenge general buhari's victory at The tribunal court

The Peoples Democratic Party has said it will
challenge the outcome of the March 28
presidential election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission,
through its Chairman and Chief Returning
Officer, Prof. Attahiru Jega, on Wednesday
morning, declared Maj. Gen. Muhammadu
Buhari(retd.) of the All Progressives Congress as
the winner of the election.
The PDP through its agent at the National
Collation Centre in Abuja on Wednesday, when
the final result was declared, had refused to
sign the result sheet despite its candidate,
President Goodluck Jonathan, having earlier
conceded defeat.
The agent of the PDP, Bello Fadile, who was in
attendance when parties were being called
upon to sign the result sheet, told journalists
shortly after the result was declared that the
party was not satisfied with the outcome of the
election and had decided to challenge it at the
election tribunal.
"Whether I sign it (the result sheet) or I don't
sign it, does not make any difference. It doesn't
invalidate the result. When we go to court, then
we can challenge the result," Fadile said.
When asked to confirm if the PDP will challenge
the result at the presidential election petitions
tribunal, Fadile added, "Sure! The party
petitioned. Don't forget. So the party will follow
through the petition. There are rules for this.
The law is there.
"The result was declared on the 1st of April, I
think. We will follow the due process. Like the
president (Jonathan) said, 'If you have any
grievances, follow due process and the due
process in this instance is to go to the tribunal."

Five Reasons Why Jonathan Lost to General Buhari - BBC

Here are five reasons why the
opposition won:
1: Harder to rig
Past elections have been marred by serious
irregularities and suspicions of rigging. In 2007
observers said the presidential poll was not
"credible". In 2011 the vote was considered to
be better run but observers said that rigging
and fraud still took place.
This time the electoral commission took more
steps to prevent rigging, including new biometric
voters cards.
Also President Jonathan's party, the People's
Democratic Party (PDP), had lost control of some
key states which meant it could not control the
electoral process there.
2: Boko Haram and security
The Nigerian army has made some recent gains
against Boko Haram, but not enough to convince
Nigerians
The election took place against the background
of an Islamist insurgency in the north-east of
the country. The Boko Haram militant group has
killed 20,000 people and forced some three
million others from their homes and President
Jonathan was criticised for not getting to grips
with this.
The poll was delayed for six weeks to give time
for the security situation to improve, but even
though most areas controlled by Boko Haram
were recaptured, it seems to have come too
late for many people.
3: United opposition, crumbling PDP
The extra six weeks of vigorous campaigning by
the PDP was not enough to halt the slide in the
party's fortunes
The PDP has been described as an election-
winning machine. When it was created it united
a northern elite with leading politicians from the
south, but that alliance has broken up and the
party lost some key figures. Even former
President Olusegun Obasanjo came out against
Mr Jonathan.
At the same time, the opposition managed to
unite under the All Progressives Congress (APC)
banner. The last six weeks of desperate and
dirty campaigning, in which the APC responded
in kind, was not enough to turn the tide.
4: Economy
Nigeria's economy is growing but the wealth is
not being spread around
Nigeria is Africa's biggest oil producer and its
largest economy, but many fail to feel the
benefits with nearly half the population living
below the poverty line. Continued corruption is
seen as partly being to blame.
National income is due to grow by more than 5%
this year and next year, but people did not
seem in the mood to thank Mr Jonathan for this.
5: Time for a change
APC supporters chanted "change" wherever they
went and it seems to have caught the mood.
The PDP has been in power since the end of
military rule in 1999, and 2015 is the year that
Nigerians decided that someone else should
have a go at sorting things out.
President-elect Buhari now has to prove he
really can change things.
