Landlady’s children cut tenant’s privat* part (Photo)

A 35-year-old man, Yinka Offehin, is battling for his life at a private hospital in Lagos State after his scrotum was cut by the children of his landlady.
The Edo State indigene, who resides on Popoola Street, off Abaranje Road in the Ikotun area of Lagos, was said to have been attacked while sleeping in his room with his family members.
His wife, Bisi, who was with him when the incident happened, identified the assailants as Solomon and Damilola, the children of the landlady.
She said, "On Thursday morning, around 3am, while we were sleeping, we heard loud bangs on our door. We initially thought they were armed robbers because the house beside ours had recently been robbed."When they entered, we saw they were children of our landlady. They began destroying our electronics and other property.
"There were two of them. One held a knife in his hand. They took N800, 000. They descended on my husband and he also fought back. In that confusion, my husband shouted and we saw that one of the attackers had cut Yinka's scrotum. I can't say what they used to cut off my husband's scrotum."She added that her husband, though in pain, was able to hold on to one of his attackers till dawn, while the other fled the scene.
Bisi said her husband could not be admitted at a general hospital because of the ongoing doctors' strike, but was eventually taken to a private hospital in the area.
When our correspondent visited the victim at the hospital, he told Punchthe genesis of his problem was when he had a misunderstanding with his landlady and was asked to vacate his apartment.
"I was asked to leave the house immediately, but after the intervention of the traditional ruler of the community, I was asked to leave by the end of August.But that decision did not go down well with the children of my landlady and they continued to make trouble with me.I was already planning to leave their house and had even contacted an agent when they attacked me without any provocation. I want the government to fight for me,"
A doctor in the hospital, who pleaded anonymity, told our correspondent that his patient would need up to three months to recover.
He said,
"We have stitched the area where the scrotum was torn. It may take up to three months before it will eal. He needs time to fully recover from the injury."A relative said the doctor told the family if the condition did not improve, a surgery may not be ruled out.
It was learnt that about N60, 000 had already been spent by the family.
The father of the suspects, a pastor, when contacted, declined comment.He said,
"I am sorry; I can't speak with you on this matter. You know the matter is already with the police and those they accused of committing the offence are in the police cell. So, what do you want me to say? I was told they are taking the matter to court. Let's leave everything to God."
Our correspondent learnt that the case was reported at the Ikotun Police Division.
A source told our correspondent that a member of the suspects' family had on the morning of the incident reported a case of armed attack on them by a tenant.
The wife of the victim, who met the relative at the station, reportedly expressed surprise, telling the officers the reverse was the case.
It was learnt that the relative was put behind the counter after the police saw the victim's injuries.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, confirmed the incident.
She said, "
It was around 3am, while the victim was sleeping in his room, that one Solomon Olowogbemi and Damilola Olayeye, the children of his landlady, came in and started fighting with him.In the process, they inflicted injury on him with an unknown object. The skin of his scrotum was partly cut off, thereby exposing one of his testicles. The two suspects have been arrested and detained and the victim taken to a hospital.

The Sierra Leonean doctor who treated more than 100 Ebola patients has also died from the Virus (see details here)

Dr Sheik Umar Khan (pictured above), who was hailed as a national hero for disregarding his own health and helping sick patients, died yesterday July 29th from the disease after being diagnosed with the virus last week. He contacted the virus despite wearing protective gear when treating patients.
In an interview last month, the 39yr old doctor had expressed fears for his life because of his constant contact with Ebola patients.
"I am afraid for my life. Healthworkersare prone to the disease because we are the first port of call for somebody who is sickened by the disease. Even with the fullprotective clothingyou put on, you are at risk" He told ReutersHis death comes days after a senior doctor at Liberia's largest hospital, Samuel Brisbane, died on Saturday at an Ebola treatment centre in Monrovia.3 nurses working in the same Ebola treatment centre alongside Khan also died from the disease last week. Several other medics have been infected.

NAFDAC Threatens to Arrest Dencia over whitenecious cream!!!

The Director-General of the food and Drug regulatory body, Dr Paul Orhii made it known that the agency will arrest Dencia any time she stepped into the country! The Director General said this during the recently concluded Nigerian Entertainment Industry Health Insurance Convention which took place on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at the Grand Ballroom of Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. In his own words;

'There is this Cameroonian singer that has been going around with a cream…if I get her, she'll be arrested'.

O.M.G another Bomb blast at Trade Fair Complex in Kano today

A bomb went off this afternoon around 1.40pm at the Trade Fair Complex on Zoo Road close to the popular Shoprite shopping mall in Kano State. According to police report, a female bomber about 18 years old died, while at least six people were injured. The area has been cordoned off by security attached to Shoprite.

"Buhari Stage-Managed Kaduna Bombing" says Asari Dokubo

The Niger Delta warlord and leader of Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Force (NDPSF), Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari has opened a fresh page on last Wednesday's assassination attempt on former Head of State, General Mohammed Buhari (retd) by suspected Boko Haram insurgents.

Dokubo alleged that Buhari stage-managed the attack on himself in order to attract public sympathy and paint President Goodluck Jonathan as a bad leader.

The former President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), who addressed the media in Abuja, added that Buhari and his group would fail in their conspiracy and desperation to take over power from Jonathan.

Claiming he knew Buhari so well, Asari said the former Head of State was not known to ride in a bullet-proof car prior to the incident, alleging that the use of an armoured SUV in his convoy started recently which confirmed his allegation. However, he noted that he did not wish death on Buhari.

His words: "That attack was stage-managed. Buhari and his group stage-managed it. First, Buhari was not using a bullet-proof car before. I know Buhari very well. Why did he use bulletproof car that day? He did not die. None of his aides died.

"Innocent people were killed. We all know what they are doing, but they will fail. All that they are looking for will fail. We are waiting for them. They should plot. We, too, we are plotting. And when they are ready for the battle, we will come out openly and meet them at the battlefield. Let them be throwing bombs in their place and be doing what they are doing. Let them shift the bombs to our place and then we will look at the score.
I do not wish him to die but like it is said, 'there is God in this evil they are plotting' and the evil will be on their head. He who will ride on the back of the lion will end up in the belly of the lion.
"I know that the same way Chibok was stage-managed was the same way they stage-managed it. Where did he get the bullet-proof car he used? Why did he use bullet-proof car that day when the bomb exploded and nothing happened to him?"
Asari also warned that the Niger Delta people would fight back should anything happen to President Jonathan.

Police arrest a 1st class graduate and 5 others over N5Million Internet scam

Fraud Unit (PSFU) has arrested six internet fraudsters, who specialized in designing organisation's websites and using same to defraud unsuspecting members of the society. This was revealed in a state signed by, Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ngozi Isintume-Agu, Police Special Fraud Unit, Ikoyi, Lagos. According to the statement, in the website, applicants were required to pay N2,500.00 as an application fee and over 2,000 applicants responded and paid the fees through the First Bank Account Number 2020874607 and Access Bank Account Number 0056941009 with the name OFID WSAS NG.The petitioner stated further that it was one of the victims that contacted OFID via facebook, accusing OFID of being complicit in the fraud. The Cybercrime Section of the Unit swung into action and the mastermind of the fraud, one Falade Oluwapelumi Ayotunde was arrested.
His arrest led to the arrest of five other syndicate members. Police investigation so far revealed that over 2,000 applicants paid the sum of N2,500.00 each into the two banks provided by the suspects and the principal suspect is the only signatory to both accounts.
[1] FALADE OLUWAPELUMI AYOTUNDE - A 25years old from Akure, Ondo State and 500Level Estate Management student of Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). The suspect made a confessional statement, that he designed the website of OFID WSAS (OPEC Fund for International Development for World Student Aid Scholarship) in June, 2012. That the idea came from one Fajobi Olalekan and Bolatiri Opemipo. He also admitted that he opened an account in both First Bank and Access Bank with the name OFID WSAS NG for applicants to pay in their application fee which many responded to. He further stated that he and his cohorts printed a postal for OFIDWAS which was on the website.
[2] ASAOLU VICTOR – 25years old from Ilesha in Osun State and a graduate of Mining Engineering from Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). A job seeker, He confessed that he assisted to paste the posters on line and he was given N80,000.00 initially and later another N40,000.00 totaling N120,000.00 for the job.
[3] AWOTE TEMITOPE EMMANUEL – 27years old. A 500Level Estate Management student of Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). He confessed that he assisted the principal suspect to sign guarantor for the accounts he opened in First Bank and Access Bank for the OFID program and was paid N70,000.00 which he had spent for his personal effects. He stated that he participated in pasting and publicizing the fake OFID Scholarship Program. He also stated that he knew from the onset that the OFID Scholarship Program is a scam aimed at defrauding innocent scholarship applicant but that he still went on to deceive the bank that his friend is honest and the program genuine.
[4] FAJOBI OLALEKAN is 27years old from Lagos State and a Mechanical Engineering graduate of Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) with a first class honour and the best graduating student in his department for the year 2012. He is currently working with Dee Xecutor Concept. He stated that while in school, he lived in the same Lodge with the 1st suspect and his mates/friends always come to him for educational assistance because of his intelligence. That he once fell victim for scholarship known as EDIADS, which made the 1st suspect to approach him and got some information regarding that one, which he believed gave him an idea on how to design OFID Scholarship Website. He further stated that he lent the 1st suspect the sum N12,000.00 for hosting the Website. He later gave him N20,000.00 in return and informed him that the fraud was successful.
[5] BOLATIRI EMMANUEL ONAOPEMIPO is 25years old from Oyo State. A graduate of FUTA. He is currently a Handset Dealer. He corroborated Fajobi Olalekan's statement that they applied for scholarship while in school which turned out to be fake and they shared their experiences with the 1st suspect which gave him an idea on how to design his own fake Website with OFID name/logo. He also stated that he lent him the sum of N8,000.00 and was later paid N12,000.00 with interest.
[6] ADEBOMI OLUWATOSIN – 26years old and a graduate of FUTA. He is currently working with Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro as a Programmer II. According to him, he offered professional advice to the 1st suspect and lent him the sum of N10,000.00 and was later given N100,000.00 as his own share. He confessed that he knew from the onset that it was fraud aimed at defrauding innocent applicants, since there was no authority from OFID. Investigation is on-going. Suspects will be charged to court soonest. The Commissioner of Police, Police Special Fraud Unit, CP Umar F. Idris advises the general public to verify the genuineness of any on-line advert before parting with their money. He also uses this medium to invite the affected victims to Police Special Fraud Unit (PSFU) No. 13, Milverton Road, Ikoyi – Lagos in furtherance of the investigation.

Nigeria Police Arrests Civil Defence Officer for Illegal Firearms Dealings

Nigeria Police detectives attached to Niger State Police Command on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 arrested an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), ASC Idris Saidu over his involvement in illegal dealings in arms and ammunition. Following the arrest, the detectives also have recovered from the suspect two (2) AK-47 rifles and a large chunk of ammunition.
The suspect, male and 33yrs of age who hails from Maje Village, Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State and currently serving at NSCDC Headquarters, Minna, was arrested at Fadikpe Area of Chachanga Local Government of Niger State following a tip-off from a patriotic Nigerian.
In his statement to the Police, ASC Idris Saidu stated that he bought the arms and ammunition as part of his personal contribution to his maternal community who are presently engaged in communal crisis with the Fulanis in Taraba State – an action clearly intended to fuel communal tension and strife within the state.
The suspect, who has given useful information to the Police that will lead to the arrest of his accomplices, will be arraigned in court as soon as investigation into the case is completed.
Meanwhile, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP MD Abubakar, while commending the member of the public whose information led to the arrest of the suspect, enjoins other citizens to emulate this patriotic act and support the security Forces with credible information in their effort at making Nigeria safer for all.

Husband batters Wife over piece of fish (photo and details)

34 year old Fatima Bankole (pictured above) said she got the beating of her life from her husband, Alhaji Kamoru Bankole, on Wednesday July 16th and now has 26 stitches on her face as a result of the brutal assault.
Narrating what led to the attack, Fatima, who is one of three wives, said as wives of the Alhaji, they had a roaster for cooking. She said on the day any of them cooked, they would first dish for their husband, then the children before serving themselves.
She said on the day of the attack, the last wife had finished her cooking and served their husband and the children. She, Fatima, then went for her own meal but as soon as the third wife saw her food, she immediately went to report to their husband that Fatimah had taken the largest chunk of fish in the pot. Not listening to her explanation that she only took pieces of fish scattered in the pot, their husband descended on her with punches to her face. She said she bled for hours and was thereafter locked up in a room for three days before she found a way of escape.
She said her husband had physically assaulted her several times in the past and even gave an account of a previous attack where her husband pulled her hair until it hurt so bad it gave her head injuries.After her escape, Fatimah was assisted to the hospital by her neighbors. Her husband has since been arrested after a petition by a Women Arise civil group in Lagos. He is expected to be in court next week.

3 Indian men suspected of raping and hanging 7-year old girl was Mobbed (see photos and details)

According to the Hindustan Times,the girl who got missing last night was discovered hanging from a tree near the village of Kaliabazar, West Bengal, this morning and angry villagers quickly rounded up a local 'Tantrik' holy man/witch doctor and his two friends.The trio were mercilessly beaten. One later died in hospital and the two others are still being treated.
The mob beat up the men and also set fire to a house belonging to Das, who had been seen with the victim yesterday morning. Then they went to police. There is no confirmation she was raped

9 year old boy falls and dies in soak-away in Lagos (Photo)

There was pandemonium on Thursday morning on the Apata Street, Somolu area of Lagos after a nine-year-old child, identified as Riliwan, fell into a soakaway and died.Riliwan, a primary six pupil of a primary school in the area, was to attend his graduation ceremony that morning where he was billed to be given prizes for coming first in his class, when tragedy struck.
According to Punch,a resident said his parents, who were devout Muslims, had sent him to pour away a bowl of dirty water they had rinsed their hands in after eating Sahur (Ramadan pre-dawn meal), when he fell into the pit.The resident, who did not want his name mentioned, said,
"The incident happened around 4am. There was no power supply. His parents had finished eating the early morning meal, preparatory to the fasting, when they asked him to empty a bowl of dirty water inside the gutter.As he went out in the dark, he stepped on a covering on the soakaway, which gave way."Another resident said after his parents did not see him return, they became worried and searched everywhere for him.
It was only about seven hours later that one of his foot wares was seen at the mouth of the soakaway."People rallied round and tried draining the water in the soakaway, before they were able to bring him out. But he had died,"
A crowd of sympathisers were seen in front of the house condemning the owner of the building for not sealing the soakaway before giving out the apartments.
Our correspondent observed that there were two openings on the soakaway.The holes were said to be covered with used printing plate sheets.
An angry resident ran to the place where the victim fell and pulled back one of the plates to the pit surface to demonstrate how "anybody could have fallen victim at that time of the night"
"This house was completed four months ago and the owner did not deem it fit to cover the soakaway with slabs. This is evil, sheer wickedness,"

9 Nigerian Students Kidnapped In Ukraine!

On Monday July 21st in Lugansk, Ukraine. Russian terrorists kidnapped nine Nigerian students, and held them at the seized building of SBU.
BBCbrings an update to the story (although Voice of America was first to report the story)that a Ukrainian official says negotiations are underway to free the nine Nigerian students taken captive by separatists in the eastern city of Luhansk.
Colonel Andriy Lysenko, a spokesman for Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, told a news conference Wednesday that people with experience conducting negotiations were making contact with what he called "the terrorists."
He said Ukrainian officials hoped the talks would end "successfully in the near future."

Nigeria is on the verge of a break up - says Bishop Oyedepo

Speaking recently on the spate of bombings and attacks in the country, GO of the Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo said that Nigeria is on the verge of a break up.
"I hope that we are willing to find solution to it. I would be the last person in this world to believe that government has not discovered those who are behind Boko Haram. Otherwise, we don't have any intelligence service in our country. Are they sacred cows that cannot be brought to book? Until we cut the source of their supplies and get those who are involved,we cannot stop them. But the danger is this, and I must say it here, we are at the verge of a break up. That is the truth. OMG Taiwan Plane Crash Kills 47 People (see full details here)

Forty-seven people were killed and 11 were injured in Wednesday's plane crash on one of Taiwan's Penghu Islands, Taiwan's Central News Agency reported. CNA cited Taiwanese Transportation Minister Yeh Kuang-shih.
The crash of the twin-engine turboprop plane happened outside Magong Airport at about 7 p.m., CNA reported earlier.
CNN affiliate ETTV is reporting that the plane crashed into a residential building.
The cause of the crash wasn't immediately known.
Some media reports said the plane was making a crash landing prompted by strong winds from Typhoon Matmo, which hit Taiwan early Wednesday, according to CNA.
The plane, an ATR 72, had taken off from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, CNA reported. The Penghu Islands are off the main Taiwanese island's west coast.
There were 54 passengers and four crew aboard the flight, said Jean Shen, the director-general of the Civil Aeronautics Administration, at a press conference.

The 2nd Bomb Blast In Kaduna Today was targeted at Buhari (See full Details)

Two explosions have ripped through the northern Nigeria city of Kaduna, killing at least 40 people, police say.
The first explosion targeted moderate Islamic cleric Dahiru Bauchiwhile the second one targeted senior opposition leader Muhammadu Buhari, a BBC reporter in the city says.
Both escaped unhurt.
It often targets Muslim leaders opposed to its militant ideology.
Curfew imposed
There are body parts and damaged cars on the busy Alkali Road in the city centre where the bomb targeting Mr Bauchi exploded, reports the BBC's Abdullahi Kaura Abubakar from the scene.
Kaduna police chief Shehu Umar said at least 25 people were killed in that blast, apparently caused by a suicide bomber.
Another 15 were killed in the second blast, he said.
Mr Bauchi had completed a preaching session in the nearby Murtala Muhammed square, and was driving through the area in an open-roofed vehicle, greeting well-wishers when he was targeted.
Followers of the renowned cleric have reacted angrily, throwing stones at the security forces and accusing them of failing to protect Nigerians, our reporter says.
The security forces retaliated by firing tear gas.
About 90 minutes after the first attack, a second explosion ripped through the crowded Kawo area, targeting the motorcade of Gen Buhari, a former military ruler of Nigeria and a senior member of the All Progressive Congress opposition party.
Gunmen rammed a vehicle into his convoy, firing shots at it, our reporter says, adding that two of Gen Buhari's bodyguards were slightly wounded in the attack.
The state government has now imposed a 24-hour curfew and people in the city are making their way to their homes.
In May, the emir of the northern area of Gwoza, Shehu Mustapha Idris Timta, was shot dead in an attack blamed on Boko Haram.
In January 2013, the then-emir of Kano, Al Haji Ado Bayero, survived an assassination attempt.

A Madonna University student has been arrested for allegedly killing own father

A 27-year-old undergraduate of Madonna University,
Okija, Anambra State, Chijioke Ezebuiro, was paraded
yesterday July 22nd by the Abia State Police Command
for allegedly killing his 87-year-old father, Dr. Emmanuel
Ezebuiro. This sad event comes barely three weeks after
21 year old Tolani Ajayi killed his 60 year old father
inside the Redeemed Christian Church of God
campground.
While parading Chijioke before newsmen, the state
Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Geoffrey Ogbonna
said Chijioke is the chief suspect in his father's death
because he was the only one around when the deceased
was brutally murdered on June 30th at his home in
Umuoriehi, Isingwu in Umuahia North LGA of Abia state.

According to his elder brother's statement to the police,
Chijioke had often threatened to kill their father. The
elder brother said he left their father and Chijioke at
home to drop off his children at school only to return to
find their father in the pool of his own blood. He
immediately called the police after Chijioke could not
explain what happened to their father.
Police preliminary reports shows that there was no
evidence of someone else gaining access into the home
when the octogenarian was murdered.
During his interrogation, Chijioke claimed he was having
his bath when his father was murdered.
"After taking my bath as I was going towards my room
I saw people screaming in my father's room, so I
decided to go inside to know what was happening
there. When I went there I saw my brother and my
cousin in my father's room and I saw my dad on top of
his bed. I was shocked to see blood on his head. I was
so scared I had to go down stairs to call one of my
cousins. When I came back with him we were asking
them what happened none of them told us anything.
He told us to go down stairs the next thing was for me
to see police coming to arrest me, took me to the police
station, saying I am a murderer, that's all." he said.
He denied ever threatening his life, maintaining they had
a good relationship.

Jonathan Meets With Chibok Girls Parents In Presidential Villa

Parents of the school girls that were abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok , Borno State on April 14, by the dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram, have reportedly arrived the Presidential Villa Abuja, to meet with President Goodluck Jonathan.
Daily Trust reports that the girls' parents were conveyed with four Abuja Urban Mass Transit buses to the Banquet Hall of the State House at about 10.30am this morning.
It was also reported that about 30 of the escaped girls also graced the invitation.
The parents in attendance also include those of the girls still held captive by the terrorist group, as well as some community opinion leaders who are not direct parents of any of the victims.
High ranking federal government officials and all the service chiefs have also arrived for the meeting.
Reports just coming disclosed that the meeting started at 11.20am shortly after President Jonathan, and Senate President David Mark, arrived the venue. The governors of Borno and Bauchi States, Kassim Shettima and Isa Yuguda, are also reported to be in attendance.
It is also reported that Journalists have been asked to leave the meeting venue, as the meeting is been held behind closed doors.

Man Beheaded His 3yr Old Son After His Wife Refused Him S*x! *PHOTOS*

The man you see in the photo above is 37-year-old farmer Gideon Abotsi, popularly known by friends as Jarah,
who brutally murdered his three-year-old son after his wife allegedly denied him s*x in Kpeyiborme community, near Kpeve in the Peki District, of Ghana over this past weekend.
The suspect, allegedly severed the head of his son, Sitsofe Abotsi, with a machete almost beheading the boy except for a tiny piece of flesh holding the head to the body. He committed the heinous crime on a piece of wood to protest his wife's decision not to have s*x with him again. Abotsi is currently in the custody of the Peki-Avetile Police, who are conducting investigations into the matter.
Meanwhile, members of the farming community are still in a state of shock over the conduct of the suspect and wondering what could have come over the man, whom some described as reserved and calm and who lived peacefully with his wife, Sena Ahiable, and their children.
According to some neighbours, they had lately witnessed a change in Abotsi's behaviour, as he easily picked quarrels with his wife. Sitsofe's mother is said to be devastated and inconsolable.
The Peki District Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mr Jonas Agbevam, said Abotsi had confessed he had been under the influence of Indian hemp that day.
Narrating the incident to the Daily Graphic, Mr Agbevam disclosed that the suspect and his wife had been married for 11 years and had four children. The boy he allegedly murdered was the last of his children.
Mr Agbevam stated that the suspect and his wife had for some time now, been having misunderstandings over the upkeep of the children, with the woman alleged to have accused the man of being irresponsible, for which reason she would not allow him to have s*x with her to prevent any unwanted pregnancy.
Following that argument, the woman allegedly packed her belongings from her matrimonial home and went to stay with her mother-in-law. Peeved by his wife's behaviour, Abotsi, last Friday, reportedly went to his mother's house, picked the small boy from his grandmother and took him to his house.
Taking advantage of the fact that his neighbours had gone to farm, the suspect allegedly put his son on a piece of wood and cut off his head with a machete. The boy's mother, who had been informed that her husband had come for the child, subsequently went to the house, only to witness the gory scene.
According to the police, the woman shouted for help and Abotsi, sensing danger, decided to run away. However, he was chased by some youth of the town and arrested.
The police were informed about the incident and they, consequently, went to the house to arrest the suspect.
The body of the boy, DSP Agbevam said, had since been deposited at the Peki Government Hospital morgue.

Men in uniform abduct lady walking with mum at Oshodi in Lagos

A four-man gang wearing the uniform usually used by officials of the anti-robbery squad, stormed Oshodi under bridge on Saturday around 2:30pm, snatching a young woman at gunpoint.
The victim was walking along with her mother when she was confronted by the men and whisked away in aHonda Pilotjeep.
When the mother tried to save her daughter, the men was threatened her with a gun.
PUNCH reportsthe young woman struggled to avoid being abducted by snatching handcuffs from one of the abductors and smashing it on his head.
The man, who was reported to be on a uniform with ascorpionlogo at the back, corked his gun to disperse a crowd who wanted to help the woman.
At about 2.45pm, the victim's mother was seen pacing up and down and shouting "egba mi, omo mi!" (Please help me, my daughter).
One of the eyewitnesses, who craved anonymity, showed thepicturehe took while the car was zooming off, adding that the angry crowd hurled stones at it.
He said,
"The men were four, but only one of them came out to abduct the lady. She managed to grab the handcuffs from the man and hit him onthe head. He did not let her go.He dragged her to a pole and punched her several times till she was helpless. As some of us wanted to rescue her, the man brought out a gun and threatened to shoot anybody that came near him. Even an Air Force official who approached the others in the vehicle was shunned."Anothereyewitness, who gave his name only as Johnson, said the gang might be cultists, adding that the woman might have stepped on their toes.
A man simply, identified as Ayo, however, said that the men were kidnappers. He said they would have killed the woman on the spot if they were cultists.
"I cannot say they are policemen becausethe man inuniform has beard which is not allowed in armed forces. They must be kidnappers. They would have shot her dead if they were cult members," he said.

Nigerian Pastor & His Wife Arrested For Fraud in the UK!

This is being called the UK's biggest education fraud case. 57 year old Pastor Samuel Kayode has a lot of explaining to do as he currently at the centre of a fraud investigation in London, after £4million of school funds which went missing from the account of the Haberdashers' Aske's Federation Trust in South London ended up in his personal accounts. It all started in October 2012 when officials discovered a large sum of money was missing from the academy's funds and Pastor Kayode was arrested, with his assets and those of his wife Grace, were frozen.
The man of God who happens to be a top pastor at the Christ Apostolic Church, South London, denied any wrongdoing and claimed all transactions had been authorised by the finance director before they were carried out, the court asked him to pay back the £4million with interests.
But till now, Kayode is yet to pay the said amount. It was during this trial that his wife, 53 died last year.
It appeared that huge sums of school money had been paid into a bank account in Nigeria and a company called Samak, which is said to be run in Nigeria by Kayode's second wife Yoni.
He will be speaking with the detectives this week, but reports claim that he has spent most of the cash on extravagant lifestyle and buying a string of properties.
The case was kept secret for almost two years now. Kayode started working with them in 1997 and rose to become accounts manager forthe whole chain. He was paid £57,000 ayear.

Discriminate Against People Living With HIV/AIDS In Ondo and Bag Five Year Jail Term (Must Read)

A five year jail term or a hefty option of fine or both, awaits anyone found discriminating against people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs) in Ondo State.
This is sequel to the passage of the anti-HIV bill by the state legislators on Friday.
At the plenary, members of the state Assembly unanimously passed the bill after it passed second reading.
The Chairman of the House Committee on Health, Bamidele Oleyelogun, who presented the bill before his colleagues, said the fine for offenders will be N500, 000.
He said that people whose offenses are considered grievous, will pay the fine and still be sent to five years imprisonment.
This is the first bill to be passed by the assembly two months after Jumoke Akindele emerged as the first female speaker of the assembly.
The House has since embarked on a two week recess to allow some of its members attend a seminar in Tanzania.

Police Officer Somersaults During Sex And Died (see full detals)

An Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP, (names withheld) attached to Ilu-Titun, Divisional Headquarters, in Okitipupa council area of Ondo died while having sex with a woman allegedly laced with the dreaded 'thunder bolt' (magun).

The officer, after reporting for duty on the ill-fated day, inspected the officers on duty.and headed for the residence of the woman he had sex with which is a walking distance to the police station.
It was gathered that the relationship between the lovers had been on for a long time.
Sunday Vanguard learnt that the police officer, who had no premonition that death was lurking around the corner, walked into the embrace of his lover only to somersault mid way into sex.
It was gathered that around midnight, the woman raised the alarm, but nobody answered her following which she rushed to the police station to report the case.
He was reportedly rushed to hospital, but died on the way. Sources said some whitish substances foamed from his mouth.
The woman involved, according to police sources, has been arrested and detained.
The image maker of Ondo State Police Command, Wole Ogodo, said he was not aware of the incident.But a police source in Okitipupa confirmed the incident, saying it was being discussed in hushed voices within the police command in the state.

Dad Beats Babysitter Unconscious for Sexually Molesting Son (Photo)

An enraged father in Florida yesterday attacked his 11 year old son's babysitter and badly beat him after discovering the 18-year-old molesting his son.
According to police authorities, 18 year old Raymond Frolander was in bed with the 11-year-old boy when the dad walked in on him sexually assaulting the boy. The Daytona Beach father angrily punched him unconscious and then called 911.
I just walked in and found a grown man molesting (my son), and I got him in a bloody puddle for you right now, officer," he said.Dispatcher: "You said the person who assaulted, you beat him up?"
Caller: " Oh yeah, send him an ambulance. He's going to need one."
When officers arrived, they found Raymond Frolander motionless on the living room floor. He had several knots on his face and was bleeding from the mouth.
"He is nice and knocked out on the floor for you," the father told the 911 dispatcher. "I drug him out to the living room."
The father - who was not identified by police - told investigators he walked in as Frolander was abusing the boy. He said he trusted Frolander, who had been alone with his child before. The 11-year-old also later told child protective investigators that Frolander has molested him since he was 8 years old. The child was too afraid to say anything.
When asked by the 911 dispatcher if any weapons were involved, the father said "my foot and my fist."
The father has not been charged with any crime. Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood said:
"Dad was acting like a dad. I don't see anything we should charge the dad with. You have an 18-year-old who has clearly picked his target, groomed his target and had sex with the victim multiple times."Frolander is charged with sexual battery on a child under 12. He is being held without bail. According to the arrest affidavit, Frolander admitted the abuse

Just Released from Ikoyi prisons .. 5 suspects Re-arrested again for robbery

The Special Anti Robbery Squad of the Lagos state police command have re-arrested five ex-inmates of Ikoyi Prisons while they were about to execute a robbery operation which they had planned while still in prison.
The men, Sikiru Adeyemi, Saheed Hakeem, Dosun Patrick, Razaq Olarenwaju, Jamiu Adeyemi, were arrested after a close monitoring by the police after they left prison.
The ring leader of gang, Sikiru Adeyemi,who claims to be a graduate of mass communication from the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro in Ogun state, had earlier been remanded at the Ikoyi prison for armed robbery but was later released on bail and placed on close watch on the instruction of the state police commissioner, Umaru Tanko. His arrest led to the arrest of the other members of the gang. Continue
Narrating his journey into armed robbery, Sikiru said it was when he had the opportunity to work in the military that he got intoxicated by power, believing that whatever he did, he could go unpunished
"I am a graduate of Mass Communication from Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State. After graduation, I was given the opportunity to work in signal office of the military at Mile 2 area of Lagos. It was then that I realised that no matter the offence I commit, if the law enforcer realised that I have a link with the military, they will immediately release me. After spending a year there, I was admitted at the Vogue Interior designer vocational studies centre from 1988 to 1992. Upon my graduation, I practised interior decoration for years till I got a contract from one drug baron. Pleased with my work, we became friends and he introduced me to the business. This illegal business came to an end when NDLEA arrested him in 2000. I was very lucky to have escaped."
"It was then I remembered how I was above the law when I was working in the military barracks. With the help of my friend, James Imada who was at Maryland barracks, Lagos, I got a fake identity card and uniform. I don't know how he did it. I used it to escort trucks around Lagos and outside the state. I also used the identity card to stop and search trucks with James till he was transferred to the North to go and fight Boko Haram. All went well till in 2011, when I was arrested at Mile 2, when I stopped a truck as usual. A mobile policeman, who noticed the argument, intervened and I was arrested and remanded at Ikoyi prisons when I could not contact my superiors. While in prison, I met a lot of friends who were jailed over similar offences, I assisted some of them to raise money for lawyers while they gave me their contacts in exchange. We had a comprehensive list of possible places to invade and with the various experiences, how best to go about it undetected. I was released on bail months later when the complainant refused to come to court again."
Back home, Sikiru went back to what he knows best, impersonating and snatching of cars.
"I needed to survive and the only way was to go back to the same business. Nobody will like to do business with me since I had been to prison before. Business started booming and it got better when I met one Tunde, a dismissed police officer. We exchanged notes and formed a joint task force. All we normally do is to stop a big car and tell the owner that it is a stolen car and that he should come to the barracks for explanation. Speaking about the crime that got him re-arrested, Sikiru said
"I never knew that my name was on the police wanted list. Normally when we want to do bigger jobs, I will always make use of the friends that I made while in the prison. They are the only ones that can keep a secret because of their experience. It was Saheed that contacted me that there was a job. He told me about a man that just returned to Lagos from Abuja with N18million. What we wanted to do was to storm his house and tell him that he is wanted by EFCC, seize everything he has in his house as exhibit and arrest him. On the way, we will drop him off and disappear. I quickly contacted my boys who will play different roles. It was when I went to finalize the sharing formula with the main source of the deal that I was arrested. I knew my game was up when I stepped down from the police van and realised I was at SARS office. This is why I am telling the truth and ready to cooperate with the police in arresting the others and exposing some of the contracts we got from the prison. Am still in shock that I am heading back to jail again. I even pray that I will be arraigned in court, so that my chances of coming out will be high." he said
As for the other gang members, their stories are similar to Sikiru's.
Saheed, a fashion designer, got jailed because he arranged with robbers to attack one of his richest customers.
"While in Prison, Sikiru was very popular because he had money and everyone wanted to identify with him. He gave us his numbers to contact him when we leave the prison. Weeks after I was released, one of my friends who was still in prison but had contact with the outside, told me that there was a deal. I contacted Sikiru who made the arrangements before we were arrested," Saheed said.
Razaq, a mechanic, who spent eight years in Ikoyi prison for conspiring with a gang of robbers to snatch the car of his customer said he was released on compassionate ground by a human rights organization that intervened in 2013 but says the human rights group only made a way for him to be released but was not financially empowered when left prison.
"After 7 years, I returned home to my sick mother who was driven away by her husband because of my attitude. Almighty God in heaven knows that I really wanted to repent but when I realised that life was better in prison than outside, I decided to help myself. All I wanted was to raise money to take my mother to the hospital and start up a business. The human right organisation only helped us to regain our freedom but did not help us to settle down. I called Sikiru who gave me one or two jobs (car snatching). I was satisfied with the proceed and had started a small business when the police came to my house to arrest me again. I am begging for a second chance, at least for the sake of my mother who is bedridden. I lost my wife while in prison, my father disowned me and my mother will die if I remain locked up. I am sorry.".
Jamiu spent eight months in Ikoyi prison for robbery and was called upon by Sikiru as soon as he regained his freedom.
"It was my elder brother that processed my bail and till date I have not visited the court. While I was in prison, Sikiru, because he looked like an old man, was very popular. He had money and was not selfish about it. Most of us served him while in prison, so when he called that there was a small business, I had to honour him. He assured me that it was car snatching and that we will not use guns. It was when we got there that I realised that it was full-time armed robbery. After that time, I stopped completely till the police arrested us. I am in trouble because my brother warned me that if I get arrested again, he will leave me to rot in jail, " Jamiu pleaded.
All five men are now in police custody.

Man Kills Sister Over A Plot Of Land

Adeola Omotayo, 28, has killed his sister, Omotayo Rukayat Adedapo, 30, after a minor disagreement over a plot of land.
The incident happened at Rukayat's residence, 22, Pasoku Street, Aga area of Ikorodu, Lagos, southwest Nigeria.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Rukayat was murdered in her room by her brother, who sells building materials at Sawmill in Itamaga, on Monday at about 6 p.m., after they had an argument over the ownership of the piece of land.
P.M. Newsgathered that the night before the murder, Adeola and his wife had visited Rukayat and eaten in her house.
Friends of the deceased said Adeola only visited to know where his sister stays since they had not been talking to each other in the last two years.
Rukayat was later found dead by her fiancé on Tuesday 15 July, at about 8:30 p.m.
A resident of the street who pleaded anonymity said she was found dead by her boyfriend when he came visiting after trying to reach her to no avail.
"We got to know of her death Tuesday night, over 24 hours after she was murdered. Her boyfriend only came to visit her on his way back from work when he found her dead and raised the alarm," she told P.M.NEWS Friday morning.
After his arrest and interrogation by the police, Adeola said that he did not kill his sister intentionally.
"I didn't have the intention of killing her, she was my sister. If I wanted to kill her, I wouldn't leave the knife at the scene and I would wear a glove to prevent my finger prints.The incident happened when we were dragging," he confessed.
Adeola said the news that he killed his sister along with his cult members is not true because he has renounced his cult membership and is now a member of Jehovah's Witness. Investigation by P.M.NEWS revealed that his church is also at Itamaga, Ikorodu.
Rukayat's younger brother, Abideen Omotayo, said he did not believe Adeola killed their sister alone and would want the police to further investigate the matter.
"I have an inkling he did not kill our sister alone. He used to be a member of Eiye Confraternity when he was studying at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, but was expelled around 2008 because of his involvement in cultism," Abideen said.
A source at the Igbogbo Divisional Police Station, who did not want his name mentioned, said the case would be transferred to SCID, Panti, Yaba, Friday for further investigation.

A Nigerian Man, Adebayo Ogunlesi Is The New Owner Of Gatwick Airport

A Nigerian, Adebayo Ogunlesi, has acquired the London Gatwick Airport as the new owner.
Adebayo Ogunlesi, 56, the chairman and managing partner, Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), an independent investment fund based in New York City with worldwide stake in infrastructure assets,is the new owner of the London Gatwick Airport.
Ogunlesi attended the prestigious King's College, Lagos. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association. He was a lecturer at Harvard Law School and the Yale School. Ogunlesi, whose father was the first Nigerian-born medical professor, studied philosophy, politics and economics at Oxford and then earned law and business degrees from Harvard. Ogunlesi has lived in New York for 20 years and is active in volunteer work. But he also cultivates his ties to Africa. He informally advises the Nigerian government on privatisation. And last summer Manute Bol, former NBA center, visited Ogunlesi in his Park Avenue office, seeking donations for a charitable foundation in former basketball star Manute Bol's homeland, Sudan.
Ogunlesi walked Bol around the hallways, introducing him to junior staff. It was just another day in the Bayosphere.
Prior to his current role, he was executive vice chairman and chief client officer of Credit Suisse, based in New York. He previously served as a member of Credit Suisse's Executive Board and Management Council and chaired the Chairman's Board. Previously, he was the Global Head of Investment Banking at Credit Suisse. Since joining Credit Suisse in 1983, Ogunlesi has advised clients on strategic transactions and financings in a broad range of industries and has worked on transactions in North and South America, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
In the US, he is known as the Nigerian who clerked for late Supreme Court justice, Thurgood Marshall, who they say was unable to pronounce his name and quickly dubbed him Obeedoogee. Colleagues and friends call him Bayo.
