Drama as Firefighters Help Man Whose P3nis Was Trapped In A Ring Remove It

Eye-watering images have captured the moment firefighters attempted to free a man after his p3nis became trapped in a wedding ring.

The 18-year-old from Liuzhou, China's Guangxi province had his penis stuck in the ring for two days before the pain became so unbearable that he called emergency services for help on September 13.

He was taken to hospital where it took some 90 minutes for the man to be freed.

According to news site Sohu, the man had the ring stuck on his p3nis for two days and as it became increasingly painful, he called firefighters for help.

They could not remove the ring at his home because his p3nis had become too swollen.

The video was posted to social media site Weibo where people have been commenting.

One user wrote: 'I want to know why the ring was there.'

While another commented: 'This man has really nothing to do? It's laughable.'

And one user said: 'I wonder why he wanted to put a ring there.'

It's unclear what made him want to put the ring on his penis.

[photos] Three Suspected Rapists Arrested For Impregnating 14-year-old Girl in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three men for allegedly raping and impregnating a 14-year-old girl in the Agric, Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

Our correspondent learnt that the suspects – Kingsley Oke, Henry Osadere and Francis Ekwe – were arrested in the Majidun, Ikorodu area of Lagos State, before they were transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja.

It was gathered that the suspects, who lived in the same area with the parents of the teenager, identified only as Ijeoma, allegedly raped the girl in August 2016, after the mother went for a vigil.

Our correspondent gathered that Ijeoma, a primary 6 pupil, was later discovered by the mother to be pregnant, and she reported to the police at the Owutu division.

The police said the three men were arrested on September 9, 2016.

Speaking with PUNCH Metro, Ijeoma said one of the suspects threatened to kill her if she disclosed the rape to anyone.

She said, "It was Uncle Kingsley (Oke) who first raped me. On that evening, he called me and said he would send me on an errand. When I went to his room, he immediately locked the door.

"I started begging him, but he forcefully carried me to his bed and raped me. On the second occasion, it was one man called Baba Ijebu that molested me. I had been sent to his house to collect an item.

"While in his house, he raped me. I cried, but he said I would die if I told anyone. The third man was Henry (Osadere). I don't want to talk about it again."

Forty-three-year-old Osadere, however, denied raping Ijeoma, saying she was a wayward girl.

He said, "She came to my place and said she had many boyfriends. I asked how a teenager like her had several boyfriends. Anytime she came to my apartment, she would steal some items. That was why I sent her away.

"I was surprised that she said I was one of those who raped her. She said she had a three-month-old pregnancy. I don't know the other suspects.The girl lied against me. She knows the people who messed around with her. It was because I stopped her from coming to my house that she lied against me."

Oke, 30, a welder, said, "I have known the girl since 2014. She usually came to my house to play. She is a wayward girl. Everyone knows about her promiscuity. I never raped her."

Ekwe, 52, said Ijeoma and her mother had begged him in August to borrow them some money, which he did, adding that he did not rape the girl.

The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, said the suspects would be charged to court at the end of investigations.

UNILAG Shut Down Over Students' Protest

The authorities of University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, have ordered the closure of the gates of the main campus at Akoka due to protest by students.

The aggrieved students were said to be protesting against the rustication of some members of the students' union.

The rusticated students were leaders of the students body that led a protest in April over poor electricity and water supply in the community, and the difficulty faced by a large number of students living off campus to attend classes as a result of the fuel crisis.

Members of the suspended University of Lagos Students Union (ULSU) executive had earlier in the month protested what they described as an "unjust rustication" of the union members.

The aggrieved students gathered at the school's Senate building to demand thorough investigation of the suspensions of the students' leaders, ranging from two to four semesters, for their role in a protest that led to the closure of the university in April.

Six People Die Mysteriously in a Hotel at Umuahia, [photos]

Six people were reportedly found dead and two others unconscious earlier today at 50-50 Hotel, located around Uyo street in Umuahia, Abia State. According to Abia Facts Newspaper:

"The hotel is a brothel and the girls living there have had experience of mysterious slaps some weeks back that left one person unconscious. This incident of strange slaps made all the occupant of the brothel to leave, only for the owner to recruit news ladies from other cities. Unfortunately, 3 ladies and their customers are today not alive to tell the story of what happened or what befallen them over night that left them dead.
All the six dead bodies have been deposited at the morgue as at press time and the two unconscious body taken to the hospital. The Nigerian Police has cordoned off the hotel, as crowd builds up around the environment to catch a glimpse of what happened. We also received report of the Nigerian Police shooting canisters of teargas into a near by Hospital (Life Essential Hospital) in a bid to disperse the crowd"

It's around 2a.m and I'm still fully awake with my heavy heart and my clouded mind, after last night encounter I found it very hard to sleep. I have so many things to figure out, so many questions to be answered.

Should I call her or nah? What will I say when I call her? Am I getting myself a Cougar? Could she be one of those wealthy old Lagos Women Ritualists?

You know if you've seen enough Nollywood flicks, you'll think about all these, because you hardly see a relationship between an Old Woman and a Young Man that doesn't involve exchange of Destiny or eventual killing of one another. In short, Nollywood taught me nothing good can come out of having a Cougar.

Should I be scared or nah? Am I safe or nah? Do I want to see her again? Everything around me paused for a while even my heartbeat when this question popped in my mind. Do I really wish to see her again??? Hell fucking yeah! I need to confirm if everything I saw last night was true. She's too beautiful to be Human; thoughts of how sleek and fabulous she was crossed my mind again…I was on these thoughts till I crept into the dreamland.

Here comes the morning, I was still in bed, half awake-half sleeping. You know those type of morning when you are just in bed, not fully awake but still conscious of your environment… visualizing all your thoughts, something like an illusion? It's like you're dreaming but it's just the display of what you're thinking.

I had the loveliest hallucination. I created the exact type of relationship I want with her and I was living in it, it definitely felt super good. I was still rolling deep with the ocean of my lovely hallucination till I suddenly remembered my 8am class… I had to jump out of bed and prepare for class.

Now I'm in class with my guys, we just finished the first lecture; we are trying to chill for the Second lecture. We were talking about random things when one of them asked me "Guy, where were you last night?" What will I say? Should I give them the gist, should I tell them about last night's escapade… let me just keep quiet for now cause I'm not even sure I'll see her again, I'll give them the gist later, maybe when she plans to meet me again. In case I don't make it back, they will know how to find me.

"I was in my room all night men, I wasn't feeling too fine but I'm fine now" I thought they believed me till he said he came to check me in my room and I was not in. Sarcastically I said "Did you check under my bed?" I had to say something silly so they can get off my case.

My day didn't go exactly as I planned, but it was not a bad day after all. I'm done with classes; I'm back to my condo (hostel) so I decided to take a shower. I was in the bathroom when the thought of calling her started bothering my mind. I was still thinking about what to say when the idea of calling her right there in the bathroom popped. I embraced it!

I know it's not just me that does everything better in the bathroom, I'm like 10 times smarter when I'm in the bathroom, I think better, I sing better, I have better ideas, even when it comes to making love, I make better love in the bathroom.

Since my phone was right in the bathroom with me, I picked up my phone and called her. I could tell my heart wanted to jump out and run when the call went through; I pulled myself together since I'm in my Comfort Zone (my bathroom) 'no panicking in here Nigga'.

The phone kept ringing, nobody picked. 'Maybe she's busy' I thought to myself. The call almost dropped when someone picked up "Hello" hold on! She has picked…show time!!

"Hello, who's on the line please" she repeated. I cleared my throat, I told her the Young man from last night. "Hey Young Man, I thought you wouldn't call, I waited for your call all night last night" oh really? Was she expecting me to call immediately? Why does she even like calling me Young Man 'I'm sorry about that; I just thought calling this evening would be better' I don't even know if that was the right thing to say. "Oh that's good. I'm in a middle of something right now…this is your number yeah? I'll text you pretty soon might not be able to call, is that fine?" She asked. Of course it is fine!! Super fine sef, I felt good maybe it's the voice or because she has been expecting my call. I could tell she was very busy so I shouldn't long thing again, I blustered 'Alright, that's good. Bye' "Later Dear" and she dropped the call

Unconsciously, I started singing *I'm in love with the coco, I got it for the low low, I'm in love with the coco* and in my mind I was subbing the coco for Cougar. I continued bathing; I was having a nice shower. I was in the middle of this when my phone rang, could she be the one calling back? Quickly I washed my face and picked up my phone.

Look who is calling me, Vanessa X, my Ex, that's why I added the X to her name. What does she want again this time? I picked up and heard something strange "Hey Boo, you didn't want to pick your call shey? Are you avoiding me?" LOL, I ignored her question and acted like I didn't hear anything, I'm not even ready for her troubles right now, so I asked her straight up 'Vanessa wassup, what do you want?' "ahn ahn, are we fighting ni, please can you come to my place tonight? All my roomies are going out and I don't want to be alone in the room"

After hearing this I smiled and so did my John Thomas, there might be chance for some knacks, I thought to myself. To be sure if she wanted that I asked her 'so what are we going to be doing alone in the room?' She laughed, "You this Boy, come jhur, please". Alright I'm definitely going to her place tonight, I need some action and apart from that I've missed Vanessa for one thing and that's the wonderful head she gives.

"alright call me when you want me to come" she decided to make me feel not so special and said "like you have any other option, see you later Boo, I Love You"  I usually don't reply her whenever she says that, cause I know she doesn't love me, she's just confused. So I just said 'Oshey Lover Girl' and dropped the call.

Back to shower, thinking about all I'd do to Vanessa later in the day. My sweet Vanessa baby, wa fe ku laleyi.

Done with the bathroom, I decided to take a nap before tonight's adventure. I was still lying in bed when my phone beeped and it was a text from my sweet Mrs. Victoria Williams. The text reads

"Sorry I was busy when you called, I'd be coming to see my Son this evening. Should I call you when I'm around? Will you be available?"
OK, OK, OK, what am I going to do? Who should I see tonight? My Ex, Vanessa or Mrs. Victoria Williams? Should I tell Vanessa I would be busy later in the day? Or tell Mrs. Williams something I won't be around, wouldn't that be rude?

Thousands Lose Money In Zimbabwe as MMM Crashes [click to read full details]

There was a time the Federal Government and the Central Bank of Nigeria warned Nigerians against investing in MMM because it is a designed and 'seasoning' coated scam.

Thousands of people, among them civil servants and vendors, have lost thousands of dollars to fraudulent online pyramid scheme MMM Global Zimbabwe after it collapsed recently. The social financial network, which relied on an accelerating number of new members to pay off the old, abruptly terminated its services last week leaving participants stranded.

Zimbabweans have in the past months been joining the online investment scheme in droves in a bid "to get rich quickly". The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe warned people that the scheme was fraudulent and there was no legal recourse in the event they lost their money.

The scheme advertises itself as a mutual aid fund under which recruited members contribute money to assist others and are promised investment returns of 30 percent per month. Some of the people left counting their losses told The Herald that they received emails that the scheme had been suspended until September 15.

"All along things were moving in the right direction and we now have nowhere to claim our investments," said Mr Tinashe Muza of Harare.

"When we started putting our funds in the scheme one could get assistance within seven days but things later changed to 14 days and when we were shut out the waiting period was 21 days. What it simply means is that the number of people in need of help has outnumbered the number of people joining. Right now we have nowhere to get our money which we invested."

MMM stands for Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox and takes its name from its founder, Sergei Panteleevich Mavrodi of Russia. He founded MMM in 1989 and the scheme was declared bankrupt three years later leading to the disappearance of Mavrodi until his arrest in 2003.

While some people who were skeptical about the scheme started with small amounts, it is believed some poured in thousands of dollars anticipating higher returns. The RBZ said the schemes were fraudulent as existing investors were 'paid money not from genuine market investment of their funds, but from contributions made by new investors, until a point when the scheme can no longer attract new investors,"

"The participants are made aware that they make their money by recruiting new members who in turn must recruit more members," warned the Central Bank.

[photos] Man Beaten and Stripped Unclad For Snatching Woman’s Bag In Abuja

A man identified only as Daniel, was yesterday beaten and stripped Unclad by angry mob in Abuja for snatching a handbag belonging to an unidentified woman.

According to Daily Trust, the incident happened in the morning at the SDP Junction in the area.

An eyewitness said the man trailed the innocent woman who carried a baby on her back on a motorcycle after she left a bank in the area.
According to the report, the man snatched the woman's handbag immediately she alighted from a motorcycle and started running away.

As he took to his heels, he was chased and apprehended by some motorcyclists.

The eyewitness added, "Some motorcyclists went after him, caught him and started beating him. They removed his clothes and left him on the ground."

The witness said that the suspect was beaten to stupor and abandoned for death before some men of the civil defence corps and officials of the National Union of Road Transport Employees, NURTE, picked him up.

Man commits suicide after wife dumped him

A man in his mid thirty's, identified simply as Godwin, has committed suicide at Kabayi, Mararaba, near Abuja, because his wife jilted him.

It was gathered that the victim was a native of Cross River State, and lost his first wife sometime ago. He thereafter got hooked to the latest one who, claiming her uncaring behaviour made him drink a poisonous substance called Otapiapia.

After being with the new lover for some time, things suddenly turned sour and the lady dumped him and went back to her former boyfriend.
One of his relatives disclosed that the victim was depressed and later visited the lady's apartment informing her that she will be held responsible if anything happened to him.

He said: "Initially nobody thought he was serious.
"Even the lady thought he was joking. But we were all shocked to hear that he drank Otapiapia.

"He was not lucky as all efforts to save him proved abortive. He was given palm oil to drink and vomit the poison but it did not work. We rushed him to a nearby hospital where the doctor and other medical workers battled unsuccessfully to save him."

One of the residents, who spoke to the City News, expressed shock at the news saying, "Could you believe that he called many friends and relations earlier on that fateful day to inform them that he was embarking on a very far journey?
"He even visited various joints in the area before going back home later to take enough dose of Otapiapia. It's very unfortunate.

"Nobody should take his or her own life under any circumstance."
"His corpse has been taken to the village by some of his family relations.
A senior security agent in the area, who pleaded anonymity, described suicide as an abominable act and a crime, warning people to shun it in their own interest.

According to Daily Trust, the incident was not reported to the police following directives from relations of the deceased that there was no need for that.

Breaking News - - Cholera Kills Six In Lagos, 39 Under Observation

Six people have died of cholera in  Isolo  Local Government Area  of Lagos State after eating contaminated Abacha, a local delicacy of the people of the South-East geopolitical zone.

The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris, who briefed the press about the development at  the state's secretariat on Thursday,  stated that 39 other persons  were under observation and receiving treatment  at public and private health facilities in Isolo.

Cholera is an acute diarrhoea disease with or without vomiting caused by a bacteria referred to as vibro cholerae and it is transmitted through ingestion of food or water contaminated with infected faeces.

Idris, who stated that seven out of the 15 samples taken to the Public Health Laboratory, Yaba,  after an upsurge of diarrhoea cases was reported in some communities in Isolo, tested positive to vibro cholerae.

He stated, "Six deaths were recorded among the 45 cases. Majority of the patients did not present with the classical rice-water stool, rather they presented with atypical diarrhoea and vomiting.

"After a thorough analysis of the  ano-rectal swabs that were collected from 15 cases,  vibrio cholerae was confirmed  and found to be the Ogawa strain of the virus.

"Twenty-two of the 26 that  were  being managed at the Isolo General Hospital and the Lagos Mainland Hospital have been discharged, one  died, while three are still on admission at the Lagos Mainland Hospital. The three patients are still on admission but they are in stable condition."

The commissioner noted that water and food analysis done at the Lagos State Drug Quality Control Laboratory showed that Abacha, a local salad,  that was eaten by many of the victims, was the source of the infection.

Idris said, "The main suspected source of infection is the salad called Abacha, a staple food  that is consumed regularly in the area. Samples of the local salad and the well water they consume in the area revealed the presence of vibrio cholerae, Salmonella species and E.coli in Abacha and the water sample taken from one of the two wells in the area."

The Ogun State Police Command has uncovered a "fraudsters' den" at Pokuku Village in the Abeokuta North Local Government Area of the state.

The den, which was nicknamed "Pokuku Shrine" was until Wednesday allegedly used by suspected fraudsters to carry out different forms of criminal activities such as fraud, according to the police.

The state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Ilyasu, on Wednesday said the police raided the shrine after an intelligence report on criminal activities being perpetrated there.

The shrine, which is a two-bedroomed mud house, is located in the remote part of the village. It contained effigies, fake foreign and local currencies and other fetish objects.

Ilyasu said the shrine was raided by the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, and one of the suspected fraudsters who was said to be the ring leader, Haruna Moshood, was arrested, while three other accomplices escaped.

The police boss said many victims had been duped by the fraudsters, who were also said to be kidnappers.
He said, "This is a house of horror where different kinds of criminal activities had taken place.

"Following diligent and intelligent information of our special operatives, FSARS stormed this horror house and we discovered that it is a receiving end of kidnapped victims.

"It is also a place where suspected kidnappers dispose property of their victims. We have been able to recover different denominations of fake dollars and nairas.

"By the time we arrived here, we did not see any victim, and some of the suspected kidnappers escaped. However, we were able to arrest one of the leaders, identified as Haruna Moshood.

"I appeal to the state residents to be cautious so that they will not become preys in the hands of criminally-minded people."

The suspect told PUNCH Metro that he and other members of his gang were into fraudulent activities, adding that their victims were people looking for quick money.

Moshood said one of them usually hid in one of the rooms and would be talking as an "oracle" to deceive their victims.

He said the effigies were also there to deceive their victims.

"We always play on the greed of the victims because they were looking for quick money.

"Again, we also study how wealthy they were by telling them to bring a certain amount of money. For instance, if we ask a victim to bring N100,000 and he brought it, that shows he or she could bring a higher amount."

The 34-year-old Moshood said he just joined the gang in 2015.

Police are currently in hunt of a young man who is on the run after killing his pregnant wife and burying her body in a coal field at Agboville, Ivory Coast. The young man identified as Tetchi Wyllifred has one child with the deceased. He murdered his wife, tied her up with a rope and buried her in a shallow pit he dug in a coal field. It is still unknown what led to the unfortunate incident.

"My Wife Is A Thief " Man Tells Court

A 42-year-old businessman, Livinus Uwa, has told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos that he married a thief.

Uwa made this known when he testified in his divorce petition against his wife, Chineye, on Wednesday in Lagos.
He urged the court to dissolve his four-year-old marriage to Chineye because of her penchant for stealing his money in the wardrobe.

"I married a thief, on several occasions, my wife stole my money from my wardrobe, rendering me broke. The last time she burgled my room and stole N350, 000.

"I reported the theft at the police station and she confessed to the theft, but the money was not recovered,
"I have reported all her attitudes and stealing habits to both families, they called her but she refused to change,'' he said.

The petitioner accused his wife, who failed to appear in court after several summonses of abandonment, adding that since they married, Chineye had been appearing and disappearing.
"When she was pregnant, she left the house to an unknown place and came back after she was delivered of the baby.

"She abandoned our baby when she was 10-month-old; I have to engage a baby sitter to take care of her. When the baby was two years, I enrolled her in school and my wife reappeared,'' he said.

He described his estranged wife as a lazy and dirty woman, adding that "Chineye is lazy, she cannot cook, wash or sweep and I do the house chores.

Uwa pleaded with the court to dissolve the marriage, since he could no longer condone her stealing habits, adding that he was no longer in love with her.

In his judgment, President of the court, Mr Adegboyega Omilola, dissolved the marriage.

Omilola held that it was obvious from available testimony and the respondent's refusal to appear in court that the marriage had hit the rock.

He said throughout the duration of this case, the respondent refused to honour court summon, adding that the court had no other choice than to dissolve the marriage.
"The marriage between Livinus Uwa and Chineye Uwa is hereby dissolved from today, both parties are no longer husband and wife, they are free to go their separate ways without any hindrances and molestation,'' Omilola said.

Underage Girl Raped And Impregnated By An Alhaji In Sokoto [photo]

An under-aged girl from Birnin ruwa village in Sokoto state , has alleged that she was raped, impregnated and abandoned by one Alhaji Giwa who is also from the same village. According to a report, the Alhaji has denied being responsible for her pregnancy in a Sharia court in Sokoto.

The story of this under-aged Maimuna an orphan of Birnin ruwa village in sokoto who was raped, impregnated and abandoned by one Alhaji Giwa of the same village as accused, is very touchy.

Maimuna who is 8 month pregnant, has no body to cater for her pregnancy in this very young age. She is now helpless her father died since, and the person accused of impregnating her denied before the upper sheri'a court in sokoto, but Maimuna insisted that Alhaji Giwa as accused, was the only one who impregnated her.

The two witnesses from the same village have attested before the court that Alhaji Giwa even told them that he will take Maimuna to a specialist for abortion, but later changed his mind.

A child of a very poor family, Maimuna is in dare need of assistance from human right agencies because Alhaji the person in accuse of impregnating her already hared a lawyer for the case.

HOPEI is sad to hear this touching storey of Maimuna, we will assist in taking care of the victim up to the time she will put to bed inshaa Allah. We will also join hands with any NGO wishing to fight for the injustice done to this orphan.

From New Hall to Moremi, Moremi was depressing; is it a crime not to have a car? Moremi girls made me give up on love and refocus on hustle, they made me feel like there is no love for trekking Niggas; they dissed niggas on 2 legs and drooled over niggas on 4 legs.

Men it's time to go back to my hostel, show my bed and pillow some love, I bet they miss me already because I'm not usually out this late. I shouldn't have come out in the first place.

I was about to leave for my hostel when I decided to pause and just do a re-look of my environment… just then did a car oozing luxury park beside me asking for directions, inside this car was an adorably-light skinned-fresh-to-death woman, as hot as the Sun; I couldn't stop looking, wealth dripping off her, Sweet Jesus! I was beauty struck.

"Hello Young Man, please how can I get to Biobaku Hall?" I was still deep in scrutiny, I almost forgot the direction to my Hostel. I managed to stutter: that's my hostel and that's where I'm headed.

"Young Man, let help each other, I'll give you a ride" When I heard this, I promised you, every muscle in my body just wanted to sit beside this 'Woman-Lady'. This moment I forgot all the stories I've heard about rich fine women using young nigga for ritual. I didn't even think about it nor hesitated. I jumped in and sat down pusillanimously.

We started our journey to Biobaku, She wore this skimpy black gown, she was ravishing in it and I couldn't take my eyes off her. She caught me staring on various occasion, she began to feel uncomfortable, so she decided to start a gist.

We're outside my hostel now "I will like to see you again Young Man, will you call me?" as I was still trying to figure out an answer to this billion dollar question…she gave me her card and softly she said "Call Me", softly I replied too with a faint-hearted smile 'alright, goodnight'.

Suspect Steals From Police During The Process of Interrogation

A 28-year-old man, Deji Ayoola, who was arrested by the police in Lagos State for theft, has allegedly stolen money from the policewoman interrogating him.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Ayoola was being interrogated at the Rapid Response Squad office in Alausa, Ikeja, on Saturday, when he allegedly stole N1,200, which fell from the policewoman's pocket.

The suspect had earlier been arrested by the men of the RRS in the Ojodu Berger area for allegedly stealing from a commuter.
Our correspondent gathered that Ayoola allegedly stole a wallet, containing N14,500 from the commuter, identified as Ayodele Akerele, before he was arrested.

It was gathered that after the police took Ayoola to the RRS office for questioning, a sum of N1,200 fell from the policewoman, who had removed her mobile phone from the pocket.
When the money dropped on the floor, Ayoola allegedly picked it, but was exposed some minutes later by another suspect.

Ayoola, said, "It was the devil who pushed me into the act."
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, said the suspect had been transferred to the Lagos State Task Force on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit, for prosecution.

FG Has Began Shortlisting Candidates For 500,000 Jobs - - Lai Muhammed

The Federal Government has commenced shortlisting candidates for the 500,000 jobs it promised.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, disclosed this on Wednesday in Abuja when a delegation of the National Council for Women's Societies (NCWS) paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

Mohammed said that applications were being received and government had started processing them for the recruitment.
"The process for the recruitment has started.

"About 1.2 million people applied and they classified them into categories including agriculture support officers, teachers, technical officers and so on,'' he said.

The minister also said that the payment of N5,000 conditional cash transfer promised by the government would begin before the end of the month.
He said the Minister of Finance, Dr Kemi Adeosun, had earlier announced this.
Mohammed reiterated the commitment of the government to improving the well-being and standard of living of the citizens.

"We are very concerned about the welfare of Nigerians and we are not sleeping; we are working day and night to ensure that the country retraces its step.
"Many of our critics have been unfair to us because many of them know that we did not invent the problems we are facing today.

"This is the time to join hands together to support the government to move the nation forward,'' he said.
The National President of NCWS, Mrs Gloria Shoda, expressed the confidence in the resolve of the government to implement programmes for the advancement of girls and women in the society.

She drew the attention of government to its promise of providing free maternal and children health care and implementation of the National Gender Policy.
Shoda also appealed to government to consider scholarship for girls pursuing medical courses in the universities to address maternal and child mortality.

I just take the delivery of this one (hearts) and I have collected two pieces two years ago.

I am not the person that used the one I collected two years ago, the person that used that one is dead now.

I want to use the parts for eyonu, ebe a won agba.

I regret my actions and I want Nigerians to forgive me.

Tunde Banjo, 29, herbalist, suspect.

This my brother asked me that he needs breast and 'TOTO' (female genitals) and one day I was playing in my house and I see this guy with his friend and I told them that one of my brothers need this thing and he said he could get it for me.

He called me one day that he has seen a lady. I was not there when they killed her o but she was killed in my (herbalist) office.

"I was there when they killed the girl but I wasn't the one that killed her. I am an herbalist apprentice.

The girl was killed with a knife.

It was Tobi and 'Asa' (nickname) that killed the girl. They brought her from Ago Iwoye area.

Commissioner of Police Ahmed Iliyasu has confirmed the incident;

We have interviewed them. That is bestial and we cannot allow that. We have carried out our constitutional duties by arresting them," he said.
