According to reports,
Officers of the Federal Capital Territory Command of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), on Wednesday said it arrested 64 suspected drug dealers between January and March.
This was contained in a statement issued in Abuja by the agency's Public Relations Officer, Peter Adegbe.
Adegbe said the command also seized 2.5kg of various illicit drugs during the period.
He said the suspects comprised 61 males and three females.
According to the statement, the agency also confiscated 12 vehicles allegedly used for conveying drugs as well as the sum of N184, 720 suspected to be profits from illicit drug business.
The statement further revealed that the command also secured the conviction of 32 persons at Federal High Court, Abuja, and forfeiture of four vehicles and N52, 970 in court.
Dennis Obiefule, the FCT Commander of the agency urged dealers to shun the illegal business and embrace a legitimate one.
